A Serious Mess

-SOLD in July 2020-

This house was on-the-market three times. Several prospective buyers backed out for one reason or another. The house was a mess, but we saw a lot of potential in it. We decided to put an offer and after a long process we were finally owners. The remodeling took longer than expected due to Hurricane Harvey in August 2017. Looking back it was a fun project to work on despite a number of setbacks.
The Blah

-Under Contract for Sale-

This house immediately caught our attention because of its price. We despised the yellow exterior paint and lack of curb appeal. We knew it was a good deal and had potential for rehab. It was a good introduction to real estate investing. It was a relatively smooth and easy makeover project. In Two months after we closed on the house, we welcomed new tenants.
Our First

We purchased this townhome during the downturn in 2008 with Obama tax credit. We got married and lived in this house for 3.5 years with our 3 dogs. In 2013 we bought a house in the suburb and moved there. We rented out this house to a wonderful family who have been with us for years.
